Dubbed “the singing cop” and even “Asian Ed Sheeran”, singer-songwriter Lewis Loh, otherwise known as LEW went viral when the SPF uploaded a video of him singing a National Day theme song on their Facebook page. The video became so popular that even the Prime Minister Lee Hsien Loong himself took to his own Facebook page to share it, commenting that it was a “beautiful rendition”.

Despite citing “disappointment” as their main influence, emo/math rock band Forests does anything but disappoint. While the three-piece band, consisting of members Darell (bassist and vocalist), Adam (guitarist and vocalist) and Niki (drummer), might seem carefree and jovial through their fun and quirky social media posts, a different side of them is reflected in their music. The quartet released their first EP, “worst beach vacation ever, circa 1997”, in July 2015. The debut EP came with three songs, “who cares really”, “cirrus clouds” and “dakota”.
